I am a child of God, a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a teacher. I try to be all of those things in the order listed, but the truth is that the last role keeps trying to hop up front. My everyday goal is to end the day looking more like Jesus than I did when the day began. This is hard, but I keep trying new ways of reaching the goal by God’s grace. Along the way I teach Medieval and Renaissance History, Apologetics and Worldview to high school students. I am the mother of five awesome children and nine fabulous grands. A five-year, stage four, cancer survivor, (Hodgkins Lymphoma) I am determined to “live deep and suck out all the marrow of life.” (Thoreau, Walden) This means intentional living. I’m learning.
